First Day with the LeidenAsiaCentre

Today is my first day as the Japan Research Fellow with the Leiden Asia Centre! I am very excited for this incredible opportunity.

For the next six months, I will be researching how 32 local cities across 8 prefectures that the Government of Japan has designated as destinations for Japanese Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from the Sakishima Islands in a hypothetical Taiwan Strait contingency can better prepare for such a scenario.
